    1. Fun story. The illustrations really added to the story. I can see kids especially reluctant readers enjoying this.

    2. My Review: Bobbie Mendoza is ignoring Christmas this year. She doesn’t want anything to do with it because she feels it is bullying her. Her younger brother, Tad, loves Christmas, he actually wears an elf suit every day. Her Uncle Dale…well he’s a little strange but how can you be defined as normal with a spaghetti strainer on your head. With Bobbie’s Dad away on a job, Bobbie is just not feeling in the Christmas spirit and after her unfortunate accident, she might be actually ruining Ch [...]

    3. Bobbie has to try to rescue Christmas for her little brother Tad. To do that she must go to other side to disable the Watcher while dealing with Ninja Santa, Larry the Reindeer, and "crazy" Uncle who lives in their basement.I loved the story and characters. I laughed out loud. The drawings are as much a part of the story as the words. A perfect story for the Christmas season. Just like Bobbie, you'll never see Christmas the same way again.

    4. This was super cute read! I loved the drawings and how they interacted with the story! Normally chirstmas stories are all about love but this one was truly about the magic of the holiday! Even though it was a kids book it was such a great read!

    5. This is a nice book about Christmas and family. I loved the illustrations, which were hilarious. Full review to be added.

    6. Christmas silliness with adventure and a hint of heart."'But what about Frosty?' Tad asked."'You mean General J. R. Frostman Jr.?' said Uncle Dale. 'Greatest snowman leader since his father. Snowmen are the the Spartans of the North Pole. They're fiercely protective of the Trans-Dimensional Barrier.'"And that's the least of it. There are good elves and bad elves. Lazy Santa and Ninja Santa. Reindeer with glowing horns. Singing whales. Robo-Narwhals. Flying seals. Killer snow angels. Magic. And o [...]

    7. ARC from Edelweiss. Bobbie usually loves Christmas, but this year it is not making her happy. Her father is living away from the family for his job, and no one has taken down the annoying, creepy Santa from the roof from last year. When Bobbie attempts to remove it, she manages to break her arm, so she decides to boycott Christmas. It's not easy with her younger brother, though, who wants an expensive video game. When she tries to win one in a contest in a store, she ends up accidentally leaving [...]

    8. ***I won this book in a GoodReads giveaway***This book is a delightful holiday read. The story is action-packed with a sweet underlying message. The prose is humorous and witty without trying too hard and captures the voice of an indifferent 12-year-old perfectly. The illustrations are quirky and fantastic and depict the characters as one would imagine them to be.A wonderful chapter book to give to a young/tween reader or to curl up with under a cozy blanket and read aloud together. Grab some ho [...]

For full review, please go to: 5girlsbookreviews, Twitter @camartinez and Facebook "5 Girls Book Reviews"REVIEW BY: Michaela, age 11 years, 4 monthsMAY CONTAIN SPOILER:I think this book is really cool, especially with all of the funny pictures. It kind of reminded me of Diary of a Wimpy Kid! My favorite character is Gumdrop because he is so funny!

    10. If you have a middle schooler who has already read The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and is looking for another holiday read – why not hand them The Naughty List by Michael Fry and Bradley Jackson. Read my review hereReview goes live December 2015

    11. This book was a very eventful. I enjoyed reading this book. A very clever, creative and funny book. A very good book for all ages. Plus it delivers a positive message which i happen to like. Loved the characters and the plot. A must read.

    12. I think the upper elementary kids will really enjoy this book. Cute pics with cute humord a little bit of life lessons to add the finishing touches. It's nice to see some fun Christmas chapter books!

    13. I received this book through giveaways for an honest review.I really enjoyed this book! I found myself laughing outloud quite a few times. The pictures are so fun and really add to the story.I would recommend this book to middle school age children through adults.

    14. Christmas is supposed to be the best time of the year or so it is said, but this year Bobbie has decided to ignore Christmas. She has decided that if Christmas is going to bully her, she will not participate in any festivities that are related to the holiday. There are other occurences, however, at play. One is that her father is living away from the family due to his new job and the second is that her little brother wants an expensive video game system, which is bound to get no matter what. As [...]

    15. The Naughty list is very funny but it is also a bit silly and weird. When reading this story you have to suspend reality. I felt like it was trying a bit to hard to be funny and silly. The overall message/ lesson to this middle grade adventure book was great. It was a fun and quick read. It was written in a mix of text and comic book like short strips. Fair warning this is not for kid who still believes in Santa.

    16. It has been my practice to read any children's book before I buy it for my grandchildren. While I am two generations away from the target age (8-12) for this book, I thoughtwas cute and clever. I loved the commentary included with the illustrations: "Bummer" "Universal cray-cray sign". So yes, your 4th grader will love it, as will ours, and there is just enough "cray-cray" for the older kids, too.

    17. This review originally posted at The Children's Book and Media ReviewBobbie used to love Christmas, but this year she’s certain that Christmas is bullying her so she decides to just ignore the bully. When her decision to ignore Christmas interferes to the point that her little brother is put on the Naughty List, Bobbie travels to the North Pole to talk to a half-lazy, half-Ninja Santa Claus, incontinent reindeer, rogue elves, and angry abandoned snow angels to save Christmas for her brother an [...]

    18. Bobbie has had it with Christmas. Her dad is working out of town, the family is struggling for necessities, let alone Christmas gifts, and, despite her love of the holiday, she has decided to ignore Christmas this year. But when her brother really wants a video game system, and writes a letter to Santa, suddenly Elves, Ninjas, Blow dryer wielding snowmen, angry abandoned snow angels and other join the fight of naughty vs. nice. Can Bobbie save Christmas and get her little brother what he wants m [...]

    20. This book is targeted to middle grade readers and so it was a quicker, easy read, but it was definitely an appealing read for all ages, in my opinion. Bobbie is totally emo about Christmas at the start of this book but even her attempts to ignore Christmas this year are weak to the level of cheer she has and it's a good thing too or Christmas could be ruined forever! It's always so hard to find Christmas stories, so glad I landed on this one this year. :)

    21. This book is really dope last year in the 5th grade the author actually read the book to us and I got his book autographed by him. This book is about a girl who tries to save her little brother when he is on the verge to being on the "naughty list" so she goes to the North Pole and tries to save the daye. Conclusion ends on the sister and the brother being on the good list and get what they want for Christmaseck this book out at the book store

    22. What a fun holiday book. Bobbie wants to skip Christmas due to an inflatable incident and the fact that her dad will not be home. But in protesting she gets her brother on the naughty list. This book includes a creative adventure to the North Pole. It is a North Pole as we have never seen it. It is up to Bobbie to stop the Watcher and save the holiday for everyone. In the end Bobbie learns a valuable lesson about Christmas.

    23. Yes, this is a kid's book. Yes, I read it. Yes, I really liked it. It was a cute, quirky book with an interesting storyline. The illustrations truly made it and often had me giggling. Can't wait to hear what my girls think of it.

    24. I gave this a 3 but I think the 3rd-5th graders in my school will find this hilarious Especially the boys.

    25. We read this book together with my 6 & 8 year old before Christmas and they thought this book was so funny.
