It states clearly in the description the type of audience it is meant for and what it intends to convey, and it does exactly that.Not only does this book offer a realistic view of a Pagan holiday and its traditions, but it offers a very real, very scary, situation that kids need to be aware of. It not only discusses the beginnings that Imbolc offers, but it also expresses the dangers of strangers and of trusting your instincts to keep you safe.I am more than plea [...]


    2. Excellent! I absolutely loved it! It showed real life situations that children have to deal with, even some really scary ones. It explains Imbolc so a child can understand and it has a recipe and crafts in the back that are from the story. I plan on buying every book in the series


    3. GoodI think its nice to have more books for children of an earth based practice. I read it before to see if unwanted to read it to my kids as I do most things. After doing so I would have no issues with reading it to my 9 year old, though my 7 year old who suffers from general anxiety issues and is very sensitive I would not. Also a trigger warning for those with children who may have issues part of the book, the story line deals with predatory behavior from a child abuser and a "scary" spirit.


    4. Great Story.I'm always looking for good books for my kids that can teach them lessons but are also pagan-friendly. I think this one really hit the mark. It has messages of what my generation called 'stranger danger' - teaching kids to be careful around people they don't know who might be dangerous - and also of trusting your own instincts. I liked the characters and story myself and my kids liked it too. And I also liked that it has themes relating to the holiday of Imbolc. I'm planning to get h [...]
