And she is a Miami officerShe tries to hide what has happened to her from her fellow officersBut eventually seeks out Dylan, and the sparks of attraction are more than they can take

    2. Okay - first of all, it's a novella. Part of the Nocturne "Bites" series that sometimes introduces a new series (I got this from the Silhouette site = the publisher). So it's a short very quick read. And I have to tell you - I wanted more.I really liked this story. Why? Because it's a "believable" werewolf tale. By that, I mean that it's set in present day Miami, it's a female police officer and a deputy District Attorney meeting under strange circumstance, which turns out to be the female office [...]

    3. I really enjoyed this novella that was included as a bonus story in "Red Wolf", it was great to get more of an insight into what happens during the blackout and change from human to wolf. I had already met Dylan and Dana's Characters from reading "Half Wolf" a few months ago which was the first book I had read of Linda Thomas-Sundstrom and really enjoyed. Dylan's character is so nice and I very much enjoyed him being in "Half Wolf" in which he added a lot to the storyline so it was great to go b [...]

    4. A quick read in the Silhouette Nocture Bites series that introduces a new paranormal series revolving around werewolves in the city of Miami. The story starts out full of action - a man about to shift into a werewolf, on the streets, trying to find cover before he becomes a monster. He witnesses a cop car weaving erratically, and then the young female cop jump out of the cruiser, strip off her clothers, and start shifting painfully. I enjoyed this book immensely, and look forward to more in the [...]

    5. I was drawn into the short story about Dylan and Dana. It brings us to a large metro city like Miami where all creatures of the night could exist. She jumps us quickly into the story of Dylan trying to keep the locals from finding out he is a werewolf while he comes across a female cop who is exhibiting her first change. Dylan has been in new shoes and he is the perfect person/were to help her. Only, there is something more between the two of them that quickly presents itself. This short novella [...]

    6. Been awhile since I have read a nocturne so was eager to get into this one. They were the line that sealed it with loving paranormal back in the day when they first came out. Anyways it was interesting reading-tracking Dylan while he then encounters Dana going through something unusual. He tries to hide who he is but instinct overcomes that. These two will have quite the evening with them connecting on even a different level then most. This is a quick read with loving every step of the way thank [...]

    7. I absolutely loved this story!! One of my favorites in the Wolf Moon series!! I loved the main character Dana!! She is fantastic and by far one of my favorite, all-time heroines. This series is fantastic and I really enjoy the author's take on werewolves.

    8. This novella is a great start to an amazing series. I sped through it, caught up in the story from beginning to end. I did not even consider putting it down for one second. The tense interaction between Dylan & Dana had me wanting more. A story of the wolf change that actually held my interest!

    9. Reviewed at Shifter HavenI’m a reader who needs, or is often compelled to go back to the beginning of any series. When I don’t or I accidentally read something in the middle I know that I’m missing subtle nuances, tidbits of information that will enhance my reading enjoyment by knowing the “whole story”. So when the current release of the Wolf Moons series caught my eye I made the decision to go back, to understand this world better – and as always, I’m very glad that I did.Blackou [...]

    10. This novella was supposedly an introductory first installment of a new series, but it lacked something. It is obvious that the author can write, but the restrictions of the Silhouette Bites line led to a lack of emotional connection between myself as a reader and the protagonists. Longer lead-up to give more background would have helped a lot.

    11. Dear readers. Nocturne has reissued this WOLF MOONS novella and given it a new cover (see the new cover in the "other editions" area. It's reaching bunches of new readers who are hungry for the paranormal, just like I am. I'm thrilled to see each new add and each new review, and offer a big thank you to those of you who read my work.Linda
